The Lakeshore Art Festival is one of Muskegon’s most popular annual events, drawing thousands of visitors with its fine art exhibitions, handcrafted goods, and interactive experiences. As a major celebration of creativity, it plays a vital role in connecting artists with the community.
In our inaugural year, the Shoreline Theatre Festival is thrilled to collaborate with this well-established event, bringing live performances and interactive theater to festival-goers. As a sponsor of the Children’s Lane, we are expanding this family-friendly area with the STF Spotlight Stage, featuring free performances—both cultural and theatrical—as well as hands-on workshops that invite audiences to experience the arts in a new way. With this addition, Children’s Lane is moving to a more central location in Hackley Park, making it even more accessible for families to enjoy.
This partnership is a win for both festivals and the community. By blending fine and performing arts, we create a more immersive and diverse festival experience, giving attendees even more ways to engage with the arts while increasing visibility and opportunities for local artists, performers, and creatives.

The Shoreline Theatre Festival Mainstage will be hosted at The Stage at The Corner, a 400-seat theater inside The Corner Building at 280 W. Muskegon Ave. Once a church-based community center, The Corner has been transformed into a multi-business hub, now home to this exciting new performance venue. Since opening, The Stage at The Corner has quickly become a space for live theater, music, and community events, making it the perfect home for our festival’s premier productions.
